Q1. Could you briefly introduce about your project?
A:
Sure. OCTA is the name of our token which is currently on the Binance Smart Chain. We had an initial supply of 1 quadrillion upon which half was burned at the launch, leaving the supply at launch of 500 trillion. OCTA is a deflationary token with an 8% tax on all transactions (buys, sells and transfers) where 4% goes to holders and 4% is locked forever in liquidity.

The goal of the OCTANS project is the creation of an Octaverse for the world. The Octaverse will include an online digital ecosystem consisting of an Octamarket, where users can purchase licensed (Star Wars, DC Comics, Marvel, Disney) video gaming products and peripherals. The Octaverse will also include a vast NFT Marketplace with three different lines of NFT available for purchase and trade. In the long term the Octans will incorporate the use of our token within actual video games across a number of different platforms (2 game of which are currently in development). Investors who hold our token will have a number of different uses and utilities for the token all the while watching their own balance of OCTANS steadily increase through our reflective tokenomics every time someone conducts any transaction with the token. Q2. What makes the OCTANS project stand out more than the projects in the same direction at the moment?
A:
One of the key aspects of our project that distinguishes us from many other crypto projects out there is that we have a major company directly backing us; Capital Games Portugal. The team at Capital Games has over 20 years of experience within the gaming industry and OCTA is an extension of the company and the utility and use case of our token is directly backed by Capital Games Portugal. We are not just a bunch of people who came together and decided to create a token. We are a token that was created from a major company with a grand vision who set about putting together a dedicated, full time, and hard-working team to turn that vision into a reality. The team's strongest motivation is the fact that we have such an established company backing the project. The experience and contacts within the video game industry Capital Games Portugal has will fuel OCTANS and keep the project expanding and meeting all the goals we set out to achieve. Everyone on the team (we have a team of around 20 people fully dedicated to the OCTANS project) has been with the project since the beginning and none of us are going anywhere.

Q3. What are the memorable milestones of OCTANS in the research and development process?
A:
We have a roadmap included on our official website (octanscrypto.com) as of now, we have achieved every single point on that roadmap within the time frame we gave ourselves. As a matter of fact, we were officially listed on WhiteBit exchange a few weeks ago and anticipate being listed on Bitmart exchange and Gate io exchange in the coming weeks/months. The milestones OCTANS has achieved in the four months since its launch are as follows: - We have just shy of 64,000 current holders - We have a vast social presence online (Website, YouTube, Reddit, Telegram, Discord, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok) - We have a full clothing store with a variety of OCTA merchandise completed and launched a few weeks ago. - We have four online news articles published thus far (Cryptocurrencies News, Tech Bullion, Tech Times and Fintech Zoom) and an article with Yahoo Finance complete and releasing very soon. - We have a number of different YouTube influencers who have released videos about OCTANS already and around 10 who have signed contracts and will be releasing videos for our project in the coming weeks with a combined audience of around a million people. - Our NFT Marketplace is about to reach it completion very soon and the OCTAVERSE is over halfway finished as well. We have so much in the pipeline and with OCTANS being listed on WhiteBit today we will coincide it with more online news articles, Youtube influencers videos and more to release within the coming weeks to capitalize on our first exchange listing.

Down your roadmap by Q4 your are planning on launching an NFT Marketplace. So can you throw some light on what will be the advantages your NFT Marketplace will provide to entice NFT enthusiasts to use it? Will traders be able to freely buy/sell/trade NFTs from different chains?
A:

The OCTANS NFT Marketplace will contain three different lines of NFTs:
⦁Premium Line – Three dimensional NFTs for interaction within virtual galleries.
⦁ Medium Line – Aimed at professional graphic designers and illustrators. These will be high quality NFTs.
⦁ Standard Line – These NFTs will take their inspiration from classic 8- and 16-bit games and will include animated gifs.

At the launch of @OCTANS_OCTA, 50% of the total supply of $OCTA was sent to a dead wallet, and now it's considered as an existing holder due to the static reflection being proportionate to the total supply a wallet holds, How did you come up with this kind of strategy?
A:
The main developer came up with this strategy when he wrote the original code before deploying our smart contract. This is common among many deflationary tokens and it contributes to the overall decreasing supply of the token taking place every time someone buy, sells or transfers the token. Over time as the supply of the token decreases, it will contribute to a positive price increase of the token. The more volume we have the more tokens we burn and the more token we burn the higher the price of each token goes.

Each project has interesting stories before it was created. So can you tell people the story that gave you the motivation to build and develop a great project like this? And what is the significance of this project?
A:
Our project takes its name after the Octans constellation which is a real-life constellation deep in space. Our project takes on a "space theme" in everything from its name to all the graphics we release. The vision of the project is as grand as space and we wanted to give ourselves a name that is unique and not a copy of many of the other "finance" tokens or "meme" tokens out there. Octans mission is to provide a space for gamers to acquire, express, and live their gaming identity, while sharing in a community that today finds itself growing to reach an estimated 1.5 billion dollars within the next 2 years. Collaboration with artists is evolving the way that people think about traditional gaming spaces – converting those spaces into a showcase to better represent gaming culture and the true lifestyle behind games. This is what Octa is seeking to achieve with the creation of the OCTAVERSE to the world and the use of our token in video games, which will assure long-term utility and use case to our token. Over the next year, OCTA will be acquiring several new strategic partnerships which will enable the brand to go further, bringing rewards, gaming peripherals, experiences, VIP access to new content, physical and digital items, events, and a 3D world in which gaming expression can find its home. Are you an well experienced team and devs? Can you tell us more about team background and are they anonymous?
A:
We have a team of around 20 people who all work for the project full time on payroll. We are a fully doxxed and transparent team of developers, graphic designers, marketing and public relations personnel, and moderators who are all experienced in their respective fields. Everybody on the team have been involved in cryptocurrency in some form of fashion over the past years as an investor or team members on various other projects as well. I would also like to note that our team shares a love for cryptocurrency and the idea behind blockchain technology and we always look for ways to further expose ourselves to the world of cryptocurrency. What brought us together at Octans is that we all share a passion for the idea behind Octans as the mission of the project is to provide unlimited utility for the token with the creation of the OCTAVERSE, which will include a physical marketplace - the Octamarket and an NFT marketplace, and the use of the token in two video games that are currently in development. In short, what attracted all the team members to Octans is the project being a multifaceted one. Revenue is an important aspect for all projects to survive and maintain the project / company. What is the way to generate profit / revenue of token? What is the income model?
A:
Right now, we have a small amount of funds in our community wallet. However, OCTANS has a parent backing company, Capital Games Portugal, who provides all the funds needed in order to further the project and allow us to reach our maximum potential. We have paid for our WhiteBit exchange listing and Certik Audit ourselves without the need for community funds. These are not cheap accomplishments. The 8% tax applied to our tokenomics is there to benefit our holders and encourage them to continue holding our token. The 8% tax is also present to create a continuously decreasing supply of the token in order to increase our price floor little by little.
