Q1: Can you give a brief introduction of what Kawaii Swap is? What is it aiming to do, and what it intends to solve in this industry?
A:
In general, our vision of KawaiiSwap is the intersection of DeFi yield farming and gamification protocols - we want to connect yield farms with the gaming world and make it into unified interactive ecosystem.
The ultimate goal is the release of browser games with NFT ownership , characters development and battle system.
Aside from direct access to the game as a standalone project it gets release as a 'layer' on KawaiiSwap platform with option to harvest specific in-game currency, use it in lottery-type games on the platform and also win NFTs specific to this particular browser game in loot boxes.
This way token receives a lot of use case both in the game and outside the game (on KawaiiSwap platform).
As game development is much more time-consuming and comprehensive process, we are starting right away with the farming app and preparing all the required basis for gamification.
That includes:
1) release of simple lottery-type game giving additional use-cases to the token;
2) release of second lottery-type game of the concept of loot boxes that supports upcoming browser game NFTs;
3) release of concept of Quests on the platform that also provides additional interactive experience to platform users;
4) closer to the release of first browser game swapping event of Calcifer token to new contract will occur.
It is due to necessity to adjust tokenomics to game specifics, at the same time token gets rebranded.
5) Full platform functionality is released with new token as first Layer.
New token gets used both for in-game activities and on the KawaiiSwap platform for harvesting, lotteries, chance to win NFTS that are used in the game in lootboxes.
6) New concepts like NFT packages that gives farming boosts are released.
Like, holding both sword and armour NFTs gives small boost to all farming rewards (as example). Other concepts like implementation of scoring system that detects amount of lottery wins and NFTs draws from loot boxes and using this system as option to compete with other users.
So, on further implementation, in parallel to support and release of new features for the first Layer, new games gets implemented and added as second Layer on the KawaiiSwap upon the release.
Considering required timeline, layers are not released often, but that is considered as advantage as it drastically differers from typical layered farming systems with low liquidity and almost zero use cases.
In what we describe here each layer is like ecosystem in itself with a lot of use cases supported.
Considering we are getting a lot of NFTs from different wolds as a result, there is NFT marketplace in the roadmap. Where both single NFTs and NFT packages can be traded.

Q2: Can you share some of your background and experience? How did you know and get involved in cryptocurrency? What made you/your team decide to found Kawaii Swap?
A:
Sure.
As was mentioned, my backround is IT and I have over 10 years of experience in development, architecture, business analysis and team leading.
First got into crypto around 7 years ago, more or less early as still only few took it seriously that time.
The first crypto experience was just hodling and trading 🙂 Then started experimenting with coding, like creating really simple blockchain that runs on my localhost just to see how blocks gets created, or forking some mastenode project just for fun and minting new tokens to tell friends how cool it is ;D
Now I feel like crypto space is much more matured and with appearance of DeFi and play to earn projects it becomes really interesting.
In KawaiiSwap my role is of main visionary and I'm leading the dev process of the team as well.
On the decision to found KawaiiSwap - actually it was related to getting scammed in one DeFi farming project 😂 Was somewhere around start of 2020 I think.
They used gamification features with APR boosts, NFTs and competitions, so we really liked it and were really disappointed for good ideas to be wasted. That was where we decided to start something new on our own, and with opened team this time.
Q3: Currently, there are many scam projects that cause investors to lose. So, Why we should choose and trust Kawaii Swap?
A:
KawaiiSwap can't do anything like that 😁
Our team is doxxed and also passed KYC by Solidproof.io. We take security also seriously getting 2 contracts audition long before presale. And if you check our website and documentation - it becomes clear that it is far from those copy-paste projects that disapper after 1-2 days and then rinse and repeat.

Yield Farming has provided an avenue to help individuals increase their profits. Token inflation however, will start to happen in the near future so what do you think the impact of this will be to KawaiiSwap ?
A:
We took inflation into account while considering tokenomics.
1. we have automatic emission reduction with 1 CALCIFER/block as starting point and then reducing it by 3% every 12h untill it reaches 0.2 CALCIFER/block
2. there is 5% transfer tax that automatically gets burned
3. we have buyback protocol - project buys tokens back directly from users at a fixed price. This on one had is more profitable for investors than selling on exchange. And on the other hand deflates more effectively than when done manually. All tokens gets automatically burned by smart contract.
4. We are continuously adding new use cases. Lottery-type games added on the platform aside from new token utility provides also additional deflation. 15-20% of allocated Calcifer tokens in prize pools gets burned, the rest is allocated to winners.
5. And ultimately, closer to release of first browser game Calcifer token gets migrated to new contract and becoming in-game currency gives the largest value boost to its holders.

At the moment , where you are focusing right now ? building and developing product or getting customers and users, or partnerships ? Could you share it?
A:
Both building and developing a product and getting customers and users 🙂
Our app requires constant addition of new utilities, so this is kind of an never-ending process.
In parallel we are preparing with the presale which is on 5th of September and the farming rewards are starting on the 8th of September.
We are having a lot of marketing these days, like: listing on different platforms such as
dappradar, dapp.com, defistation,
posters in large telegram groups and twitter campaigns - today we have laucnhed meme competition;
writter articles on crypto news channels,
youtube previews (2 are live, 3rd received today and will be soon posted)
we were trending in reddit on the main page of CMS
and a lot more 🙂
On partnerhips - after 1-2 weeks upon farming rewards start we plan to apply to ApeSwap build program to get listed as their partners upon passing it.

A:
As was mentioned, KawaiiSwap team is doxxed, we have real names and photos in the Team section on our app.
As well we have passed KYC by Solidproof.io. This is our way to show to community we are serious on our deliveries.
And our contracts passed two auditions - by Techrate and Solidproof, with very positive results, getting only couple of low severity issues/recommendations that doesnt affect security.

Unfortunately KawaiiSwap team members doesnt have medical education and enough expertice to make significant impact on pandemics.
The best way wee felt we could help is following all the prescribed rules to stay healthy at home and not to make someone fell ill and continue developing our product to provide safe place for investors.

Sure, gradually we are adding local communities.
First local community created was Kawaii Swap Japanese community,
considering our branding, there was no other way 😁
Second - Spanish communities,
there will be more as we are progressing through the roadmap, but already after the launch date

Can you tell people the salient features of the project that no other project has? Can you name a few features of the project that are considered the best?
A:
It is all about gamification.
F.e. in Octobeber our first lottery-type game getting released called 'Fortune Cookies' and in November new game utililizing lootbox concept called 'Prayer Room'
Fortune Cookies is going to be quite close to the lottery games we got used to in DeFi farms, like numbers game on the pancake.
There will be rewards pool where users reserve spot with Calcifer tokens. Using randomiser, winner wallets gets selected according to their Luck. 'Best Luck', 'Average Luck'.. 'Worst Luck'. For now it is planned to have 5 luck types, with 'Best Luck' winning the most.
And per Fortune cookies culture, along with the type of luck there is going to be 'prophecy' letters attached 😉
Prayer Room won't be using common pool for rewards. There is going to be one-time 'donation' to the 'gods' using Calcifer tokens and using randomiser you can have different kind of rewards if your prayer was heard (around 1% chance not to get anything at all as gods are tough to deal with).
It utilises loot box concept - so when donation is made, some random reward is drawn - it can be Calcifer tokens/KAWAII tokens and later on - NFTs are getting added. We are considering also using non-native tokens like bnb/busd and other at some point.
Also together with release of our governance token KAWAII in October, as token holder you are receiving possibility to get dividends as part of KawaiiSwap platfrom profit.

What is the structure of this project , is it decentralised or a open sourced protocol where everybody can contribute? If so, how does the governance plan on being handled?
A:
Governance protocol gets released together with our deflationary governance token called KAWAII in October.
There are going to be 2 types of proposals - core proposals from KawaiiSwap team and community proposals that require holding certain amount of Kawaii tokens to be eligible to participate.
When proposal is made the main point is just to get 50%+ votes towards one proposal option.
There is going to be some difference in terms of what theme of the proposal can be raised in each of these types (team and community). Some things like decision to migrate to new chain is going to be limited only to team proposals.
Though majority of options like new farms/pools, ideas for new features, partnership proposals, marketing collabs etc are supported.

Most investors only focus on the price of short term instead of the real value of the project. Can you tell me the benefits for long-term for project investors?
A:
We are constantly adding new utility to CALCIFER token.
Calcifer is used primarily for rewards as well as in lottery-type games and Quests.
In short term as with any type of farming app user receive high APRs, that comes though also with inflation. Our counter-measures for this is automatic emission reduction, buyback protocol and continuous addition of use-cases in form of games.
Lottery-type games added on the platform aside from new token utility provides also additional deflation. 15-20% of allocated Calcifer tokens in prize pools gets burned, the rest is allocated to winners.

Main upcoming events are
In September:
- Presale and KawaiiSwap launch
- Platform extension with buyback protocol
- apply to ApeSwap build program
In October the most important are
- release of KAWAII token
- release of Dividends Platform (paying BNB to KAWAII holders)
In November target is
- release of first lottery-type game
And in December - second lottery-type game

Also need to mention that development of first browser game comes not when mentioned above is delivered but in parallel and for that purpose our team is expanding (new dev manpower joins us in October).
Starting with the release of first browser game and onwards the team is going to concentrate on:
1) releasing new games
2) linking game tokens on KawaiiSwap platform as Layers and listing in-game NFTs on marketplace + providing option to win them in loot boxes
